Emma Slade is a BWY teacher and foundation course tutor. She has practiced and taught yoga for over 20 years.
In 2012 Emma became the first Western woman to be ordained as a Buddhist nun in Bhutan. She has spent the last few years engaged in dedicated Buddist practices and studies.
Her first book Set Free was a big success and helped the charity she founded for special needs children in Bhutan change the lives of many children there. She is known to be a teacher with both insight and humour.
