In the Bhagavad Gita, Yoga is described as balance and skilfulness in all our actions. In this session we will apply yogic principles to broad spectrum functional movement. This will include movements to nourish and care for the spine and joints, to help activate and heighten connection through the neuro-muscular system, and forms of ‘get ups’ from the ground to help foster resilience and longevity. The techniques we explore can also help us gain more benefit from our time working with yogasana. Suitable for all, fairly vigorous.
