This class will be a creative combination of talk, pranayama, asana and philosophy around grief and the grieving process.
After the death of her beloved mother three years ago, Emma is keen to normalise conversations and practice around grief and mental health in society. She has written a grief and yoga memoir called ‘You Can’t Hug a Butterfly’ for which she is pursuing traditional publishing. Emma will read a few excerpts from this as well as some other grief workers' thoughts. We will consider the emotional landscape of grief and how we can support the lifelong grieving process through yoga.
