The aim of this session is to introduce the participants to a breathing practice that leads into stillness and meditation. In the centring part of the practice, we will explore the benefits of and the ultimate aim of pranayama. We will cover Prakritik pranayama, natural Moola bandha and gentle Uddiyana bandha in semi supine position. Later we’ll move into sitting and will explore the full breath with additional modifications. The emphasis will be on cleansing practice as a preparation for pranayama. We will end with an exploration of the inner space which can be done in sitting or in supine position.
