This workshop will focus on preparation and grounding for headstand and shoulderstand including rolling, weight bearing explorations, shoulder girdle and neck preparatory movements and complementary poses. Applying Scaravelli principles of grounding and breath awareness we will bring attention to refining effort, finding new ways to approach these poses with confidence and ease. The approach is suitable for those in the early stages of working with these poses as well as those more confident. Variations will be included for more experienced practitioners. Participants will benefit from the presence of two experienced teachers leading this workshop.
